does replacing a new SA Inc.bolt with a new USGI bolt change the headspace?...enough to make a differance?

It may affect headspace and then it may not.. you won't know until you install the GI bolt and check the headspace....

The right locking lug broke on my Springfield bolt.

I found a TRW bolt and I was lucky it fit perfectly.

The former AMU armorer that checked the headspace for me said that useally that is the case.

Still you would be a fool not to check it.

Never replace a bolt without checking headspace!

Never.

Don't even think about it.

Nope.

That's a No-No.

Don't make me get out of my chair and come over there!

I couldn't have said it better myself.
