Preban, Super Match. Serial # is 332XX. She is in excellent shape...but there is a chip in the wood up where the very front of the handguard meets the wood. You can barely see it in the photo. I have the original sales receipt...where the weapon was sold in 1985. I have the original box, and both of the books that came with it. GI Op rod, and bolt. SA commercial trigger group. I think that's about it. Anyone have an idea what it's worth? Thanks for looking.

IMO, $2000 to $2200. YMMV

Springfield never made commercial trigger groups in 1985.You can also tell by the stock liner screw being flush with the side of the stock that it's not super match stock.

Also the grip, mag well and front feral are std width.Someone has changed out some parts on that one. It's not worth $2000.00

Thanks Raf. I just got off the phone with Springfield Armory. The weapon was built March the 26th of 1985. It left the factory as a Super Match. It was repaired in December of 1985. It was glass bedded at that time into a "new walnut stock". More to follow.

The "shipping order" for the repair work in 1985 says...

"Reworked trigger group
Replaced Oprod
Re-Crowned Barrel
Checked Headspace
Test Fired 20 rds."

Raf...I already bought it a while back. The weapon had been used in competition...and it has been @ Camp Perry a few times. I have shot it a good bit. At 200 yards, it is spot on. Dan.
