I don't know where you can get a free manual but you can find everything you need on CSP.
Just go to the top of the home page and look under the topics.It covers everything from cleaning to maintanence for the M14. It also includes mil-specs for parts and tools you need to work on them. HTH |

A very good spot for info on lots of stuff. CMP=ODCMP= www.odcmp.com, which is the source of gov't M1s, and lots of M-14 parts and info. |

Go to www.biggerhammer.net then click on Manuals. Look for FM 23-8 and click on that.
