Thinking about a future purchase of a Scout Squad rifle but I was wondering if a forward mounted Aimpoint will cowitness?

The Scout Mount sits pretty high. I have a cheap 30mm red dot on mine and you can't see the front site with the stock properly welded. In fact, I find it difficult to get a consistent stock weld without raising the comb.

whether receiver mounting or scout rail mounting, i don't believe there's a red dot out there that will co-witness. I've tried with EOTechs, Aimpoints, and a triji reflex.

Lack of the ability to use the iron sights with optics mounted caused me to convert my Scout Squad rifle to a Bush rifle.  Sights are just too close to the bore to align any dot I've found.
