I have two suppressors and I’ll need to buy a mount either way.

With factory length barrel would you use a Liberty Mystic or Saker 7.62?

With the saker I’d use a quick detach and with the mystic I’d use a tri lug (they make them in correct thread pattern).

The appeal of the mystic is that it’s lighter.

Definitely Mystic. The Saker is a beast. I have both cans as well.

I’ve been messing with the Saker on the CZ527 in 7.62x39. With subs it’s really quiet.

Neither.  Silencero Omega.

Short, light, can be used direct thread or with a QD brake or flash hider.  The Mystic X appears to be full-auto rated only for pistol calibers, while the Omega is full auto rated for rifle calibers.

Have you tried it with both?   I literally have over 50000 rounds of crap super sonic 7.62x39, I doubt I’ll ever shoot subs out of it.

I think I’ll get both mounts and get a sound meter or have a couple of peoples opinion on if there is a significant difference.

I had my RAR in 7.62x39 at the range a few weeks ago with my direct thread Omega on it and it balance very nicely.  Omega (with brake) tamed what little recoil their was.

Out of morbid curiosity, I attached my Saker 762 just to see how it felt.  To say it became uncomfortably front heavy would be a gross understatement.

I'm going to use my Hybrid with a 9mm endcap on mine, out of an inherent distrust of imported 7.62x39 ammo.

I re-read the notes on the Mystic.  Liberty recommends the fixed barrel adapter only for the 7.62x39.

I’m pretty sure the tri-lug would work, but they be the experts.

Hell, I’d even use the Cosmic (45 cal can) for this, but unrelated to why they recommend the fixed barrel adapter.

Saw the cover of Recoil Magazine.  Has a blurb on this rifle and it appears to be a Liberty suppressor on it.

My wife got me one for Christmas.  I will be using a rugged razor on it.

Now just need to figure out what glass I want...

Where are people finding reloading data for subs?

Finally had a chance to look into it.

To me the sound report was basically the same from the Cosmic (not Mystic) and the Saker.   Basically.   There may have been some tonal differences, but it’s still a supersonic rifle round.

However the weight difference at the end of the rifle was substantial.   I think the Cosmic was 385 grams (suppressor and mount) and the Saker was 780 grams (suppressor with muzzle device).

Just looking through the scope and moving the rifle was enough to convince me to go Cosmic.

I know the Saker is tougher but it’s a bolt action and the rate of fire will be lower.
