How are the American's in 450B? I have a 77/44 and wouldn't mind a little more umph.

I have a 77/44 and a RAR 450, which I shot for the first time yesterday. I really like the RAR. The action is not as smooth as the 77/44 and the action (and magazine) are significantly longer than they need to be, but maybe this will allow more replacement stock options to fit? Feeding was perfect except for one time when I short stroked it and failed to pick up a new round, again probably because the action is longer than it needs to be. I did the RAR trigger mod and its great now.
I was concerned about the recoil reports I had heard but I didn't think it was bad at all. Maybe just a tad more than a stout load from the 77/44. The RAR recoil pad is much better than the 77/44 pad and I'm sure the muzzle brake helps as well but its freaking loud. I am looking forward to shooting it with my Hybrid once the stamp clears and I think that will reduce the recoil even more than the stock brake.
I only shot 18 rounds yesterday (short on time) but accuracy looks good. 3 shot groups usually had 2 under an inch with a 3rd stretching it to 1.5 inches. I fired my last 3 shots on steel at 200 yards and they were just over 1". May have been some luck involved there but I'll take it.
Iowa is a straight wall deer state starting this year and I think Ruger will sell a shit ton of these here, much better option than a 12 ga slug.
