Because the 2015's had the 14x1 muzzle threads and the 2016's went to the 1/2x28.
The 922r kits come with stock and adapter, muzzle device and a few other parts that give you the correct part count. |

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to file a Form1 on a bren pistol so I was wondering If I needed the '2016' kit. I'm not going to use the flash hider anyway, as I'm going to install a suppressor with a quick disconnect flash hider, which is a US part. The 2015 kits are like 25$ cheaper. |
