hello,

i am going to put a sbr together and have a couple of questions i hope someone can answer.

is it still possible to convert a pistol into a sbr (after obtaining stamp of course)?

can i purchase a rifle lower,  send in the paperwork/prints/photos and wait to buy the upper when i receive the stamp if i know which upper i will be purchasing?

if i use a trust, do i still need to engrave the lower?

thanks in advance,
-Z

Yes, and Yes.

For more info on NFA items, or SBRs in particular, check out the sub-forums in the "Armory" tab:

Just an FYI, most places are seeing forms submitted as individuals returned a lot faster than forms submitted as a trust. No idea what will happen in the future, but it is something to consider.
