I'm using an 11.5" Noveske SS barrel with a 1/7 twist, trying to decide if it's worth my time and money to pick up some MK262.

It isn't predictable. It is just going to depend on what your particular barrel does with it.

So, it could be super close or 10 MOA then? Just trying to imagine a worst case scenario I guess.

In the ballistics world there is science and statistics and many different ways to predict results.

In this case (as in many others) the sure proof is to buy a box or two and head to the range

A few mags will tell the story ,is reasonably cheap and you can have fun shooting it.

I am thinking the difference won't be much until you get out to 300yd or more

Yes....but probably less than 10moa.........I shoot many different loads in each of my rifles. 45-90gr in my .223 ARs, 90-147gr in my Grendel, 150-230gr in my .308......

I don't think I  have ever seen more than 4moa shift.

Also note that the shift may be lateral and not vertical.

My guess is one group will be four inches lower and to the right  of the other....

Shoooottttt it and tell us what you find out...

Don't know about the 262. But mk318 had a HUGE shift for me against all other 62gr rounds across multiple rifles, others reported similar experiences.  Re-zeroing was a must for me that's how bad it was.

As others have said, there is no definitive POI shift to state as all barrels shoot differently. Buy a box or 2 and try in your rifle
