I’m wanting to handle one. Throw a can on it and could be a handy little varmint gun around the farm

Quoted: Hows the cheek feel with that stock? View Quote Not great, not bad. I think it's growing on me. It wasn't as comfortable as the factory setup with a magpul CTR installed. I moved that to my PC 9mm carbine. I would love to buy another factory folding stock hinge and strut and put back on it..with a CTR as well. However, it's fine with the midwest industries stock. The stock setup it comes with is just fine. If it had more recoil, the one I added would not be too comfortable. |

My local shop has some on order, its likely I'll be taking one home

Quoted: What is the velocity increase over a handgun like the ruger or fn? View Quote In Paul Harrell's latest video....over 400 FPS more in the carbine compared to the pistol with the 40 grain ammo. Roughly 2100 compared to 1700. Ruger LC Carbine Review |

Shot mine today using the psa magazines if anyone was curious.
It functioned 100%. I need a dot. My eyes are getting bad enough I didn't shoot well. |

Ahh you would have to ask.
I think it was a little over $800 after tax but I have the CRS right now. Also purchased Rugers new sfar 308 but that one I know was just over $1000 after tax. And I'm glad they put a brake on that little beast. Need to find a soft pad for the magpul stock on it. |

Quoted: Sounds like Paul Harrel likes this gun View Quote First he was hammering it because it wasn't as effective as a 5.56.....well no shit..haha. I don't think anyone thinks of it as better or equal to a 5.56. It is what it is, and I think it should be compared to a 9mm carbine. In that comparison, I think it is the winner. Even though I have both of course;) |

I saw and handled one at my local fun store last weekend, even before I knew it was 57 it caught my eye. I think it looks nice/quality and feels and manipulates great. I was ready to buy but I am mot sure if it takes FN mags but sounds like not…so I’d need a bunch more mags. Which is OK
Priced under $700, $650-ish maybe? |

I like it, but I'm on the fence as I have a Ruger 5.7 pistol and a PS90 w/ a 16"bbl. Adding this seems redundant but I kinda want one. I also like the KelTec P50 as a Charger type of pistol with a bipod. If the Ruger LC had a larger capacity mag, that could be used in the Ruger 5.7, then it would be a buy for me, but a 20rd mag makes it a little less desirable IMHO. I'll need to fondle one and read more reviews before dropping the coin on a LC Carbine, KelTec P50 or in true ARFCOM fashion, both.

Quoted: I handled one the other day, looks like it has a pic rail attachment and the stock tube does not appear to be mil-spec, it's kind of oval shaped. I wanted to do the same thing. Not bad considering all my LGS prices are still at $799 to $849, but by the time I add in shipping and the transfer fee to that $733, we're right up there close to my local prices to make it worthwhile going mail-order. Anyone see any better prices? |

I'd be interested if: 1) I didn't already have a PS90 SBR and an FN 5.7 Pistol
2) There was any easy way to SBR this gun |

Has anyone put a muzzle device on theirs yet?
I suppose a regular AR flash hider would look dorky. Maybe not. I just can't leave a barrel that's threaded without something on it. |
|
With as non existent as the recoil is you really do not need one. Even a suppressor seems kinda silly as it is not going to quiet the pew like a .22 can be.

If the pistol grip is not the serialized part, the easily removable grip/magwell plus the 2-piece bolt suggest magwell modularity and possible caliber changes. This is a much more attractive layout than the PC Carbine, to me at least, for a 9mm. And the grip front-to-back length should allow for 10mm or 45ACP using common mags.

I picked one up from Bud's a few weeks ago.
Been to the range twice with it. About 200 rounds thru it so far. American Eagle mostly, some Gold Dot and also some FN V-Max loads. Flawless operation so far. Loaded from both an open bolt and closed bolt and racking. No issues. Happy with the purchase. I've shot 5.7 handguns before and like the cartridge. I put a Holosun 503CU Green Dot on it with the high mount. Fits nicely. Also put on a Lantec Linear Comp. No change in POA/POI. As other have mentioned, recoil is almost nil. Like a .22 imo. Accuracy is spot on. Cloverleaf groups at 15 yds and not much bigger at 25. I'll try it at 50 and 100Y next weekend. I shot mine with a 5.56 suppressor and it ran smoothly with no loss of accuracy. A bit muzzle heavy with the can however. Would like to find a source for a mag holder. The magazine has a unique size so nothing I own seems to fit it well. |

I'm really on the fence on this one. I have a Ruger 57 and a PS90 so I can go with this and use the Ruger 20rd mags or I can get a AR57 upper, put it on a spare lower and use the PS90 50rd mags. Anyone have accuracy comparison on the 2? But then again, with a PS90, why do I need the LC Carbine?
