Tossing around the idea of using EVO magazines for my next 9mm project but need the mag's dimensions.  Can someone with an EVO Scorpion magazine measure the side-to-side and front-to-back?

The idea has been discussed before (https://www.ar15.com/forums/armory/Scorpion-EVO-Mag-AR-Lower-/48-474458/) but I'm looking to see if a Scorpion mag will physically fit into an AR magwell.  According to 1811GNR, he says the upper would have to be opened up a lot which makes me think the mags are too wide.  But I'd like to know by how much.  Thanks!

Why not design for and use use mpx gen 1 or 2 mags.... nice lancer mags vs factory cz mags with spotty rep for cracking

Excellent thank you!  But as expected, a tad too wide.  




I actually considered those but pretty sure they're too wide too.  I thought EVO mags might be a little more narrow.  That said, I've never measured an MPX mag.  Don't suppose you have one that you could measure?

Ok thanks, I figured as much.  Just wanted to be sure before I went too far into planning this thing.  Looks like Sterling magazines it is!
