Has anyone here completed a form 1 on an APC9K?  Wondering if there is enough room for a VFG?  If so, any photos of what it looks like?

Thanks!

Yes and there is enough room for a VFG.  There was a picture of an APC9K with a VFG on this forum (still looking for it...).  If You Google 'APC9K VFG' a few pictures come up like this ONE.

Acro I found on the EE. The Aimpoint Mount with the logo as far as I know is the last one imported. My buddy who’s a dealer has more on order from Switzerland and may be getting more in 4-6 weeks

That is nice!  Although it looks like there isn't enough room to get a full grip on that VFG?

That looks great also.  But I assume you can't get a full grip on that?

Define a full grip. I get all 4 fingers on it very comfortably, and my thumb goes on the pic section

OK.  To be honest, I’ve never used a VFG.  Is that the proper technique?

I would agree for a full length AR rail that is the proper way for a VFG. However, for a short hand guard on a SMG/PDW it is different. Don't have that luxury.

You can use the VFG either way based on your preference. There are a couple more forward rail notches on the pictured APC9Ks to mount the VFG further forward if you want more space for your support hand to wrap around the grip.

There’s no correct or incorrect way to use a foregrip unless you’re T cupping that thing. It’s weapon system and operator dependent. All this super new age LARPERs out here telling people what’s wrong and not. Short SMGs require a different Manuel of arms. Plus reason that people use a different grip on ARs is #1 real estate and #2 different recoil mitigation

Thanks for all the info everyone!  I found a forward cant VFG that is made by Custom Smith Manufacturing.  The grip angles slightly forward and gives a little more room.  Also, It looks like the Glock lower magwell slants backwards (the stock B&T angles straight down).  Between the two, there should be enough room for either method mentioned above.

Personally I run a B&T grip 1 space forward from all the way back and it’s fine and gives you room to wrap fingers. That’s on the short grip. Gonna grab a full grip and that should honestly be the ticket. I’m more into putting B&t on B&t stuff cause you know.... it’s 🔥

I rarely see any pics or talk about B&T guns outside of APC9 and GHM9, so I started a B&T picture thread. Plus, so many pages on this and the GHM9 thread it's hard to find pics in between all the chatter.

For 2020 can we get some aftermarket mags from Lancer or someone else, just saying and no I'm not buying a Glock lower.

A short follow up on my lil magazine SNAFU.

The 5 replacement mags arrived via 2 Air. Upon inspection they are noticeably darker than the first batch of mags (of which 5 out of 10 experienced malfunctions). After 25-30 rounds from all of the new mags (3 rounds per mag in an attempt to induce the malfunction) there were zero failures.

I was strongly considering a glock lower up to this point, but now I’m not sure I’ll do it. I guess I’ll wait to see the longevity of the mags before I make that call.

Can you post a picture showing the color difference?  It may help identify mag issues related to a potential batch change.  Thanks.

I have Gen 1 GHM9c, APC9 and APC9SD and the lowers are identical. I have no direct experience with the PRO but I would think that you could.

Yes, I validated that you can put a Pro lower on the APC9SD (Gen 1/non-Pro).  This was with the Pro lower for standard B&T mags; you'd need to make sure the bolt/receiver are properly modified if you wanted to use a Glock lower.

Looks like my telescoping brace was accidently assembled using an APC556/300 right side bar.  That prevents my gun from functioning when the brace is collapsed.

Hopefully B&T will take care of me.

Update 3/24.  All sorted out.  Thank you B&T!

I'm not going to name names as I'm pretty sure that no one is taking apart multiple braces/stocks and putting them back together wrong.

Note how there is no relief for the ejection port and the right side bar has the lower u notch present on the 556/300 braces/stocks.
