Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, it’s a fun shooter and that mag just made it a little more fun

That on is modified. I cut the bottom back and changed how it secures to the top. The Osprey is just a hair to large to fit inside at the bottom.
Biggest issue with the CASV is getting optics mounted at the correct height.

Oh nice! I wouldn't even have noticed if you didn't mention it. I've read people complaining about mounting optics on it. Nice stick!

Tail hook armbrace attached to Custom smith MFG adapter.
But an ATI 2 position collapsable stock was used/cheaper

More detailed info could be found at custom smith mfg.

Sell it it will bring about 750-800 get a AERO carbine by ATN takes glock mags 9mm can convert to .40 about $750.00

The Marlins were nice, but had some design flaws, The first was the buffer, it broke down after time even if it was not used.
Second was the Trigger/mag housing it was plastic, if you used the wrong brake cleaner it would melt!
I had a Marlin camp carbine .45 for years then sold it off and got the AERO carbine it takes Glock mags. The Barrel unscrews and it has a adjustable stock.
They are now making a pistol version.

All ready wearing the fire retardant suit so flame away.

Lo Point 9mm Carbine

Actually had some fun doing the mods and I think it turned out better than expected.  Was able to sell the original stock and sights for more money than what all the modifications cost.

Attachment Attached File

I cut and threaded the barrel down to 14.5" and permanently attached the brake for 17" overall length.

Used this clamp on quad rail as a jam nut well as for the laser and sight.

Going to swap out the optic eventually, however this design has the perfect 1/3 co-witness.  Need to find a better mfg of this style as the objective has a bad mirror effect and reflects back into the unit.

I can hardly flame you for your Hi-Point when I have one of my own. I easily spent more than the gun cost to turn it into this:

High Tower Armory bullpup stock, Primary Arms Micro Dot, BUS from my Beretta ARX100 (they really suck but that is strangely appropriate for the 995TS), Hi-Point muzzle brake, and a Pro-Mag VFG. It was way too expensive for what it is, but it is really fun.

Does it work with the 1911 mag catch conversion?

I understand that it doesn’t. I heard that HTA was working on a 1911 compatible mag catch for the stock but it hasn’t materialized yet.
