Hello all,
I have two Winchester 94AE's: a .30-.30 rifle/carbine and a .357 Magnum "Trapper".  I want to take the better quality checkered stock and forearm off the .30-.30 and put it on the .357.  Both are the same straight stock and forearm type.  Before I start unscrewing things, does anyone know in advance if the stocks will fit.  Visually, everything looks the same.  Also, should the forearm barrel bands travel with their respective forearms or stay on their current rifle.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Should be a direct swap.  Note sometimes swapping stocks can result in gaps between the wood and metal.
