of course it's a pre-safety to piss off all the marlin purists. Coastal Subgun can I've had lying around since I sold my sten back 2008. TROS thread adaptor and the thing is hollywood quiet with PMC 123gr non plus p 38spl fmj. It's just ridiculous how quiet it is. I will of course be working up my own subsonic load with polymer coated 158s and I need to get a taller front sight to work better with the vintage redfield receiver sight. It's just tall enough to sit at the top radius of the can so it's usable but a taller front sight will fix that. I apologize for the poor photography, will update with better pics later once picnic table dries. Work done by Jojo's gun works in Southington, CT.

Once I get in to NFA, a suppressed lever gun will be on my list. That thing is sweet.

I have two MGs, SBRs, multiple cans, but this is one item that is high on my "to have" list. Nicely done.

At a local 3 gun match this past weekend, one guy had a suppressed rifle, pistol and shotgun. The shotgun was a disappointment; it was pretty loud, but that was a trade-off for weight. The suppressor was in parts and could be assembled in at least 2 different lengths. The rifle suppressor was very impressive; a 16” barreled AR that made less noise than the bullet impact on the steel target at 100 yds. The pistol was ok, but it nearly doubles the length with the suppressor.
With the size of your suppressor on the .357, it is easy to see that it could really be Hollywood quite. |

Looks good OP. I threaded my stainless 16" Rossi .357 for a form 1 can but when I get the stamp back I'm going to convert it to a SBR. Definitely makes for some interesting conversations.

I've got the same exact setup but I eventually added a mini red dot to see over the suppressor. I've been shooting 130 gr American Eagle .38s and most are going supersonic, the ones that stay sub are very quiet. I'm going to try some 158's.

Just got my 1894 back. With handloaded 158gr bullets, it's stupid quiet. Even full house .357 rounds aren't that bad. |

I recently got the itch for this setup.
Coincidentally, it has now led me down the path of researching reloading - which is just as exciting! Don't know how long it will take me to find the right Marlin, but I'm going to practice reloading 9mm before I get to .347/38sp. |

You have to shorten the tube about 1/2 inch on the receiver end and drill/grind a new notch in it(the magazine) for the barrel band screw. Mine is 44 and the muzzle OD is barely over 5/8 inch. I did 5/8-24 threads and use a thin jam nut as a shoulder for the silencer.
