Roof is a poured concrete. Over 2x6 frame with a 7/16 OSB decking with a plastic vapor barrier.
I just don't have a picture of it.

More progress on the Vault.
We have had some heavy rain in the last few days. Finally the rain stopped, and the framers are now working on the house.
Floor is going up. You can see the top of the vault room in this picture including a wire chase. (3" PVC Pipe)

View from the inside:

I went with a SnapSafe 36" door. I know its not Ft. Knox. However, I think it is going to work OK for me.
Room is 11'9" x 9'

Waiting on the builder to finish the house before I am allowed to do any work on the room. I will post some pics of the door installed.

Very nice.

Are you going to have some kind of fire protection for the roof/ceiling? Looks like you're covered for 5 out of 6 sides.

What do you mean? Roof is 2x6 with 3/4 plywood over that and a concrete slab poured over the plywood.

What we are picturing is wood framing on top of the CIP wall with a deck poured on it. If that’s the case fire will get right in. If the concrete joins then it’s fine.

Got it. I keep forgetting you can support concrete with wood. We never do it.

Ah! I never noticed the concrete slab on top. In the first pic from your post earlier today, I could only see the 2x joists.

I am going to insulate the walls/ceiling then do a drywall ceiling in white and a ban beam weathered siding on the walls with white base cabinets.
Wood similar to this: Barn beam Shiplap

As someone about to construct a very similar room myself and has done hours upon hours of research with little to show for it, could you possibly shed some light on topics I need help with? Feel free to PM me if you would rather.

Where did you run the conduit for electric? On the ceiling or a side wall? Anything about ventilation you could provide would be appreciated. Did you tie into your current HVAC and how many vents/returns did you go with? Reasons for choosing what you chose?  I really don't want to run a dehumidifier, but will if necessary. Fire/waterproofing/humidity are my chief concerns and plans online are impossible to find

Maybe a stupid question, but how do you get out? Is there an inside door release or something?

When I started reading this thread I thought it was going to be one giant underground vault separate from the house. Nice OP

No, not really giant. Just big enough for my needs.
This is a little teaser:

Ended up going with Cedar ceiling and maple cabinetry. No white.

I also have heated tile floors installed. Just finishing the walls, and waiting on my cabinetry to show up.

All of the exterior walls are insulated and covered with vapor barrier. What you are looking at is my interior wall.

It is nice and dry in my basement.
