Has anyone got one? I have one backordered, i just got my k handguard in the mail. Im just assuming theyre sending out barrels since theyre sending handguards. But then again its sig and i wouldnt be surprised if i dont get mine until next year...

Yes, they are shipping and I received one last week that I preordered June of 2016. 4.5" for Gen 2. I'm going to send it back as I no longer need.

Instead of sending it back, you should sell it on the EE or Gunbroker. Lots of people are looking for those and would pay more instead of waiting a long time.

I used a coupon to get it to $479. The ILWT barrels on gunbroker do no include the gas block, tappet, and gas valve....those are about $179 from Sig. The factory MPX barrels are all turnkey/drop in. If one wants a machined in 3-lug, ILWT is your only option.

I ordered a Gen 1 4.5" barrel from Sig on 8/30/16. Given this thread I called Sig today for a status check.

They told me they have an estimated ship date for me of 5/22 and he said that these had started shipping in small batches over the last few weeks. Having a specific date seems like progress. We'll see if they hit it.

i asked if he knew if they were shipping both Gen 1 and Gen 2 given that all that's been seen in the wild to date (at least that I've heard of) were Gen 2. Of course...he had no idea.

Sounds like maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel...

Next up, .40 S&W caliber change kit. 2nd half of 2018 maybe???

It is scheduled to be delivered Friday.

Same here. ..the Gen 1, I ordered back in Jan shipped last Monday. I have the ILWT gen 1, 4" 3-Lug....might have to flip the ILWT if I like the sig barrel.

Osage County guns had all gen 1& gen 2 barrels in stock. Just got a 4.5 gen I. I think gen ii is now out of stock. They are my go to sig parts shop. Only a few hours from me as well.

Sig shipped my 4.5" Gen 1 a few weeks ago...about 3 weeks AFTER I took delivery of the Gen 1 3-Lug ILWT Barrel. I've shot all 3 barrels, 8", 4.5"(sig), and 4.5"(ILWT) and the ILWT barrel groups the WORST, out of the 3 barrels, in my Gen 1 MPX. As shown below...yeah..its a little longer with the HKParts 3-Lug Adapter, but its just as accurate as the factory 8" barrel at 25 yards...bench and off hand. I really wanted to like the ILWT barrel..cuz of the machined in 3-Lug mount..but I like the tighter group from the factory 4.5" Gen 1 Sig barrel.

Ohh...also, the ILWT had noticeably the worst recoil. The Gas Block and Tappet were from ILWT and I had to buy a gas valve from Sig...wondering if the ILTW has a smaller gas port than the factory sig barrels.

Here is a picture of all three for comparison.
