I gotta say, that SIG MPX 9MM is one fine looking weapon. When running right you can not ask for a better subbing either. Very very easy to work on, to change out parts. Just a fantastic weapon. Some great MPX PORN here to

The GEN 1  mags work great in mine never had a malfunction with them. Of coarse I did a ramp job on my MPX to. They cost on sale 19.00 for 30 rd mag.

dmjerrywest44 your finish is bad ads on your MPX

@MCX300BLK

Did you purchase your Rattler stock separate?  Or did you pull it off a kit?  That is a Virtus upper, right?

It's a gen 1 mcx. The stock is from Parker Mountain Machine.

MPX-K with custom cut handguard, 4in barrel, 'wanna-be' Noveske KX muzzle brake (which just barely makes it out past the handguard).

The added weight isn't really noticeable. And the scales weigh next to nothing. I've left the vents on both sides of the pic rail open for heat to vent. The guard is so narrow that it's very close to the can. Making the guard super hot.

Patiently waiting out the Form 1, and Form 4 for the suppressor.

You said it is very close to the can, do you mean barrel?

I did mean can. I mainly use it with the 6.75" 300 barrel and Mystic X. Which is mostly under the hand guard. The pic above is the 11.5" .556 barrel.

Oh, ok. I was confused. I assume it doesn't heat up in the pictured configuration?

No, heat isn't really an issue in the configuration above

Nice, man. I'm jealous. What can did you get for it? I'm waiting for an Omega 9K for mine.

I went with the SIG SRD762-QD.  The same shop that sold me the gun had a good deal on the SIG can.

Nice combo. That puts your barrel and can combined length at about 12.5". Your rattler barrel is shorter than mine. But your can is longer than your barrel (which is crazy to me). My barrel and can length is 11.45". Big difference is length of the can. The SRD762-QD is 7" long. My Omega is 4.70" long. I'd be interested to know your over all length with can, from stock to the tip of your can. My OAL with stock extended is 27". 20" even with stock collapsed.

I thought really hard about going with a Sandman K or S, but I really wanted maximum quiet, and I don't already have a .30 can, so the SRD762 kills two birds with one stone, so to speak.  I'm very intrigued by the Delta P Brevis III Rattler specific suppressor.  When there is some real world data out there, and they become more available, I'll seriously consider getting one of those, and leaving it on this gun full time.

I got mine before the rattler and virtus were a thing. I didn't realize I was trying to build a rattler. I bought the Mystic X before I really knew what direction I wanted to go. I'm going with a 3 lug for the Omega. Should be perfect.

Got a couple of decent MCX shots while on a pig hunt in TX with Last Shadow a couple of weeks ago.

Config:  MCX Virtus, 11.5" 556 barrel, 9" mcx rail (as ships on 9" 300BO guns), SRD556, Romeo4T

I think all that's left is the form 4 for my can at this point, and that stamp should clear any day now...
