nice! I thought I was the only one that had the Blaser Tactical 2 and SSG 3000.

SIG Snipers by c.swimm, on Flickr

Doesn't that Spuhr mount on the Blaser sit a bit high?

Nice pair! The Spuhr is taller than rings but I just raised the cheek piece and it works well.

Just finished up on a new handguard that accepts M-Lok so I could easily attach stuff.  Been holding up well after a couple trips to the range.

SAN 551 2SP SWAT

This one was one of the grade/condition "A" rifles. It looked to have an extremely low round count. This is actually my 2nd one. I had one of the "B" grades before and like an idiot put it up for sale. It turned out to be one of those rifles I never stopped missing, so when I found this one pop up for sale I jumped on it. It was definitely a case of "you don't know what you've got til it's gone".

I took it out this weekend and am very pleased with how it performed. I was running mostly IMI 77 gr ammo, and some BH Mk 262. I printed out one of the Swiss 300M targets and shot it at the 400 yard berm. With a 100 yard zero I was pretty close to where I needed to be just rotating the diopter to the 400M setting. I had a 10 shot group of 1.11 MOA at that range. The IMI stuff actually shot better than the BH 77 gr ammo.

While I was there I gave the 1 MOA all day challenge a shot. I ended up with a average of 1.186 MOA for the (5) 5-shot groups at 100 yards. I posted the results there on page 21....

These really are phenomenal rifles. They are heavy, and not quite as modular as some of the newer offerings on the market but these are rifles that were designed to be an accurate, durable, lifelong companion. There is a video on the 550 on youtube by a guy in the Swiss Army who says something along the lines of it being a rifle designed to be issued to a Man when he comes of age and joins the military that will be there for him for his whole time in the service and on through retirement.

Very nice 551 Hootie. Mine is very accurate also. The only thing I dont like is the barrel extention. I'm really looking for a 551LB to install on mine.

Hi, that's the ring that came in the box with the Aimpoint, not sure how is it called or any specifics about it, sorry.. Is a very low profile ring that makes co-witness possible on that SIG.
