Question about NICS enrollment forms

New FFL here trying to get signed up with NICS. My FFL is in the name of my LLC, and I am the sole member of the LLC with no other employees.

I have printed off the enrollment form and acknowledgement form. I don't understand who needs to sign as the "witness" on both forms. Would I sign as the "user/officer" and the "witness"?

im an llc too..

i had my wife sign. shes not part of the llc. and doesnt even ask a name. just a signature.

so you sign user/applicant

and random whoever for witness..

That's what I was thinking too, but on one of the forms it's asks for the witness' position in the company.

Maybe the form has changed, but I had a buddy of mine sign. He has nothing to do with the business.

Yea I don't remember it asking position. Actually I just looked as I was typing this.

Just says witness. So maybe the form was updated
