So I sold my 5.56 Tavor to fund something else earlier this year, and I miss having it.  I'm thinking of getting another one, and now there's a 300 blk version available that wasn't available when I bought my 5.56.

I live in IL, where SBR's are legal but silencers are not (yet).  Obviously if this changes, I'd be all over getting one.

I do load my own ammo, and I like the idea of the larger caliber round, Wondering if there's any reason not to get a 300 Blackout Tavor other than ammo costs?  I have 3 AR's including a good 18" SPR for long range shooting.

I got an X95 300 BLK over the summer just for the sake of shooting something different and also for the possible (debatable) better terminal performance in CQB ranges over 5.56. If you don't mind the initial costs, it's a neat round to shoot, but may not provide all that much advantage over 5.56 or 7.62x39 in the unsuppressed arena.
