I pretty sure they are compatable. I think the only thing(s) that seperate the two would be the stocks(and reciever locks. rounded and square). All other parts should be compatable.

I think the newer one's are. Mine isn't though, since I sent in my stg for the E4 upgrade. It still runs great so I dont think it matters.

My E4 bolt is hard chromed but I am left handed and ordered a LH bolt. When it arrived I noticed it was NOT hard chromed (it was parkerized) but had a stainless extractor.

The only difference between the MSAR STG and E4 models is the stock, all the other parts are compatible.

An E4 bolt will work in an STG and vice versa. |
