How do you like the brass buster?  I really like the Defensus Corvious (or whoever you spell that name) brass deflector but they don't make one for NATO stocks.   Brass/Steel is digging into my stock which IMO isn't a big deal I'm more worried about shooting on my off side which I do sometimes for 3 gun matches.

The deflector Corvus makes can be used on the NATO stock, you just need to slightly modify the stock for it to fit. It took me roughly 5 minutes with a small set of files to get mine attached.

Mine fit without mods. I did have to take out the "hump" to get the top rail to fit on my NATO A3/M1

I liked your picture so much..........I decided to be a poser.

Normally this gun uses a 20 inch barrel in the house. But it's so handy in the vehicle with the 16 incher.

We even have the same taste in slings.

Nice.  Diggin that Barretta.  Really pretty.

Got my bayonet mount in from PJs.  Decided to clock it at 4-5 o'clock so the forward grip would still fold all the way.  I was going to clock it at 7-8 so it was opposite of my body when slung but it blocks gas piston removal during teardown unless you loosen the lug and rotate it out of the way

Thanks, I'm a big Beretta 92 series fan. It's my EDC.

Looks good with the bayonet. Probably a good choice on the clocking with the lug with the shorter barrel.

Is that McNett Camoform wrapped around your forward grip?

It is.  It's a temporary solution for my tape/pressure switch until I decide I want it there for sure.  Then I'll have to find a more permanent solution.

That's funny. Cause it's my permanent solution on the AUG. I've been using it for tape switches for years. And find it works well.

Then I may jsut keep using it then instead of drilling screws into the forward grip.  I do need to pick up a coiled switch instead of this one with the straight cord because it's not quite long enough to fold the forward grip up without stretching the cord out pretty badly.

Yeah, I like it. And I can (as you probably know) unwrapped the camoform and re wrap it as many times as need. Which is nice. Since I change barrel on the pictured gun from time to time. Of course you could use some duct tape or whatever too. But I've seen people do the drilling method as well. Or hollow out a part of the grip to fit the switch into. Many ideas to choose from. the camoform seems to give a good grip as well.

Yeah, I didn't really want such a long cord with the streamlight. But even if I mounted the light on the receiver rail. I figured I'd still have to get the extra long coiled, shotgun cord that streamlight makes. The straight cords are simply not long enough, especially to fold the forward grip.

Hard to see in the pic. But I zip tie quite a bit of the extra cord, usually to the forward sling loop. I don't like using the forward sling loop. using it with a sling always gets the sling in the way of the charging handle. Luckily the scoped model has a couple built in "sling attachments". :D

Isn't that because the newest run of them didn't sell that well then the ATF decided the barrel wasn't for "sporting purposes" and kept Steyr from importing anymore basically making them unobtanium? Screw you 922r!

Pretty much

Can't comment on how well they sold, they were pricey originally for sure. IIRC, they sold originally for around $1300 back in 2013/2014 (banned in 2014). I paid $1600 for mine in early 2016. I'm sure they'll "disappear", but one or two pop up from time to time. But I'm sure prices will rise. There was a time when older generation kits (the most current are 6th gen) sold for over a grand. Even if they didn't have barrels, were beat up or missing other pieces.

Only 380 or 385 (I see both numbers) of the 6th. gen were imported.Years ago 500 gen 4 kits were imported by CCF. 20 gen 5 kits were imported by Pete Athens. I think that's all that are in the country. I think there are a very small handful of full factory 9mm guns in the country.

I guess the big issue with the ATF was the Austrian made barrels. After the 380 came in on form 6's. The ATF classified the barrels as "non-sporting". I think (and I'm not big into surplus parts kits for AKs and things), but why parts kit don't have surplus barrels anymore when you see them.

There's been a little talk of making 9mm AUGs here in the USA. But the cost is too high and the want is small.

I don't think any individuals have but if a company didn't abide by it I'm sure they would get PP smacked like Sabre in a hurry.

I bought the scope several years ago and paid $600 - $700 for it. Current price is over $800, AFAIK. I bought it as a less expensive alternative to an ACOG, a role it fills quite well, IMO.
