A friend of mine dad passed away a year ago. He reloaded for many years and has a lot of things laying around. He had some LC brass somewhat dirty...likely 15+ years old...unprimed and needs some cleaning...very rough but no dents.

I have seen brass all over the place cost wise. Is 10 cents a fair price? More?

THANK YOU!

AGAIN, admin...not selling or buying here...just need some direction.....

Deprimed- if the crimp has been removed I wouldn't want it.

You have no idea how many times it's been fired, especially when the source is a guy who reloaded for many years.

He did not shoot 308. He picked this up after 1 firing I'm sure. So my question, if it was once fired......price?

AGAIN thanks

Now that the rush is over I pay scrap price or a little better for brass .

Gotcha.

10 cents would be on the low side, IMO, but within the realm of "friend pricing".

I agree. 10 cents a piece would be a can't pass up bargain.

Depending on quantity and how many of one single year head stamp it could be worth 3x that much. Especially if there is some LC "MATCH" head stamps.

I just picked up about 1400 a large flat rate box of LC I think it was all 05 for 125.00 shipped off the EE.  still has the crimp so .10 or less

I paid $80/500 for LCLR brass on the EE a couple of hears back. I thought that was a really good price. So I'd say $15/rd for good quality one lace fired is a good price. Just my opinion.

My opinion, that is the "friend price".

It is rare you would find some that sells brass as any form of a business selling it that cheap.

Wow! They have a lot of brass.

I think the chemical totes he has pictured there are 275 gallons each.

And those huge cardboard boxes...

I know it would be dirty and nasty...but would it be wrong for me to want to dive in a box o brass like Scrooge McDuck:

RangeBrass sells 8c/rnd mix 308 brass + shipping but many places sell at 12c/rnd + shipping. 10C is a good price if all LC once fired.

Since all the 308 brass guys are here . What's the difference if any in Hornady 308 brass and Hornady Match 308 brass ? Is it worth sorting ?
