After several month hiatus due to moving finally back up and running with my 650
got 190 9mm rounds loaded

other 10 were test rounds to ensure nothing got out of spec during move (and didn't)

Feels good, was getting to my emergency (never use) stockpile number

Not today, but over the last couple weeks.
Picked up a gallon bucket of brass and shotgun hulls at a few local shooting spots.
Found a pound of 296 at Cabelas.
Picked up 400 cheddite shotgun primers and a bag of 3/4oz 20ga wads at sportsmans.
And today, I started cleaning and moving things from the shop to the storage shed so I can get my reloading bench set up.

Went to the range yesterday and the RSO was kind enough to have saved for me:

Approx 150 pcs 45 Auto
199 pcs 38 special
58 pcs 380 Auto

I dry tumbled them earlier this morning and I'm sitting down to deprime/resize them prior to wet tumbling.

Nice score.

Reloaded another 400 or so 357 until I ran out of full primer tubes.
Seemed like a good stopping point.

So went to my primer stash and cracked open a fresh sleeve of Wolf SP primers

Loaded 22 rounds of 6.5CM for an OCW test using Staball and 140gr Accubonds.  Hoping to get a good load for deer season, but never tried the OCW method before.

Shortened a Hornady classic press handle to six inches.  Primed/sized a dozen nickel 300 BO cases.  Going to load them up with 110gr TAC-TX, over some Lil Gun.

Wet tumbled 380/38spl. overnight and this morning tumbled 45 Auto brass.

I came out to the garage to find the drive belt on my HFT rock tumbler had broke. That one lasted all of maybe 3 weeks.

I replace it and noticed that the pulleys were not in alignment. They weren't badly off but they were definitely not aligned. Adjusted and ran a batch of brass. Will do another in a moment.

Earlier in the day I gifted a fellow ARFCOM member a bag of about 150 pieces of wet tumbled once-fired 10mm brass I'd picked up at the range.

Got a 38spl Lee Loader in the mail today, ran some steel wool through the sizing die.   Brass came out way better than before.
I was going to load some rounds, but work got stupid.

I loaded up some 6XC cartridges for long range shooting.

Complete, careful case prep
Hand-weighed charges to the nearest 0.02gr
Federal Match primers

0.02 gr is only 3-4 granules of ball powder.

All cases were weighed and fell within +/- 0.5 gr of the average value.

Cases were resized to push shoulder back 0.003" with head space verified on my Redding Instant Indicator for every case.

Instant Indicator was mounted in my Redding T-7.  This is a cool tool.  I wish they made them for more cartridges.

After making horrendous intermittent chattering/grinding noises I fished a single chewed-up 9mm case from the garbage disposal. How in the hell that got in there is anyone's guess.

On occasion I do use the faucet on the kitchen sink to fill the drum on my HFT tumbler but I make it a point to use the left side sink (the garbage disposal is on the right).

It's a mystery.

Resized some 380 auto brass.

Looking at data for 38 Special. Haven't reloaded that caliber in almost a decade but need to start.

Rather a busy day. Deprimed and tumbled some 6.5 Jap brass that came out of my Type 38 Arisaka yesterday. I doubt I'll be reloading for that rifle again. It's age and use has made it as accurate as a blind man chucking rocks.

Also trimmed a good amount of 6.5 Swede and .223 Remington. Only thing that remains to be trimmed is a pile of .30 Carbine, but that can wait for another day.

Finished the 357 125 gr JHP with 9.6 gr AA#5 project, the loading part anyway.  I still need to case gauge check each round which I'll do while watching tv or something.  Was hoping to run out of bullets before I ran out of brass but alas, I ran out of brass

Cleaned up my reloading room finally. It has been accumulating clutter to the point that it was barely useable.

Received shipment of an M-die for .300blk, a die box for a die set from the EE, a lee .309bullet sizing die, and a lee 312-185 mold.

took apart my 'replaced' FA intellidropper.  When you unplug the motor it would stay turned on, as soon as it is plugged in it shuts off.   The motor has a short, oh well they replaced it earlier this year.  I guess it's a scale now.

started plunk testing the 3 gallons of 357 I made with a Dillon case gauge, not much checked yet but goes pretty fast.  Pictures next time maybe.  Found one case that flunked the plunk so it'll be set aside and dismantled for components later.

I bought a Hornady Lock and Load kit, a tumbler and husks media, and dies for 38/357.

Now time to figure out what else I need and how to get started.  Ordering primers, small pistol, large pistol, and SP magnum.

Eventually I plan on loading rifles but for now going to stick to pistols, 38 special to begin but also 45 ACP and 10mm as these are hard to find at reasonable prices around here.

I plan on eventually getting the dies for every caliber I own, 9x19, 32 ACP, 5.56, 303 British, and 30-06.

Broke out the 750 swapped it over to 380, and then ran two hundred through it before the garage got too hot.
Shot up all my 380 reloads last week, so I'll probably pump out a few more hundred this week.
