Loaded my very first completed cartridges, thanks to all on this forum for the information to make it possible! Helluva time to get into reloading . . .

Working up two loads in 6.5 Grendel, a 123gr BTHP Sierra load and a 95gr VMAX load, both over 8208 on once-fired Hornady brass.

Reloaded 200 rounds of 5.56 with varget,69gr SMK and cci primers.

Currently using a Hornady reamer for primer pockets.  Is the dillon super swage 600 a better and faster option to get uniform primer pockets?

Loaded my first sustained session...500 rounds of the 9mm recipe in (one of) my previous post(s).
Takeaways...

I NEED A CASE FEEDER!
I need the Inline Fab 4" Riser for the press quick change.
I need a roller/ergo handle.
Need a bigger tub for the "whoopsies".

Now that I got my XL650 running 100%, no powder spills or primer issues, I'm going to sell it.

Ordered a XL750. I just wanted a new and shiny press.

I shot some loads... Must have made an ooopps on powder throw some how.

9mm would not cycle the new P229 so I came home and tore them down.

Found that the charges were stupid light at an average of 3.6gr vs 4.0gr Unique under a 124 FMJ.

Reloaded that batch throwing an average of 4.5gr of Unique.

Good news was the 7mm-08 enjoyed its loads.

All in all a good day.

Scored 1k Fed Mag LP primers at Sportsmans. Was tempted to buy a pound of 5744...

Yesterday I scored 500 10mm cases from the local range for $40.

For the last week I have been bouncing back and forth with processing about 4k .223 and loading 9mm. I finished sorting the .223 and culled the brass that I will be resizing to .300, should be done depriming tonight and then will swage and clean the pockets.
Having a big Elk hunt in October I have set up 2 single presses to load some .257 Weatherby and .300 win mag as I will be taking both rifles and will get started this weekend.

It's been a while since I could post in this thread

Placed a big order at midway. Got some lee mold handles, bullet sizing does, templaq and a bunch of other stuff.  Backordered a pro 4-20 lead pot and a 9mm mold.

Then found 29lbs of lead decoy weights for $20 on craigslist.

Soon I'll be casting again!

Started on 9mm again last night. At about 85 rounds the e-clip in my Dillon deprimer broke.
Was able to slowly finish the rest of the primer tube.
Called Dillon today. Replacement parts on the way.

Bought 2lbs of Hunter, 1lb 760 and 1,000 Rem 9 1/2 large rifle primers at LGS.

Sized 50 30.06 cases.

Hoping to score some small pistol primers tonight at different LGS when they open.

I had the day off today, so I was productive.

First, since I got the tool holder for my Dillon XL750, I'd noticed that the label that comes with it is backward - or they want you to mount the holder backward with the Dillon logo facing away from you.  So today I did something about that.

I have the pre printed label from Dillon taped below the tools for comparison.  I'm still confused about Dillon's label, but at least now the wrenches are labeled in a way that works for me.

Next, I decided to see how well the Dillon case feeder worked with 300 Blackout.  I'd had "issues" feeding these cases with my Hornady case feeder, so I was quite curious.  After installing the correct shellplate, installing the Small Rifle plate in the case feeder, setting the case feeder "gate" per Dillon's instructions, and putting the proper feed adapters on the press, it ran perfectly.  I mean perfectly.  Cases all dropped base-down, when two cases were piled on top of each other they both fed properly, no jams or snags at all.  I'm very happy about that.

I'm not ready to load Blackout yet.  I haven't decided if I'm going to try sizing any rifle cases on the 750 (OK, I'll probably run .30 Carbine like really long pistol cases, but that's different), so I'm holding off on that.  But since I have the #3 shell plate in place, and since I have all the other parts to run .380, I switched over the case feed system to run .380, populated a toolhead with .380 dies, and inventoried my .380 bullets.

I spent time after that reviewing my .380 loading data.  I'm planning to run loads with a few different powders, just to see what I like best.  I still need to do some testing to see if the COALs for my load data will work with all three of my pistols: a TCP, a S&W Bodyguard, and a Glock 42.  In my last .380 go-round, I learned that these pistols have different chamber throats, which can impact bullet seating.  I'll report on this project later.

Update:

No luck with pistol primers but I did pickup another 1,000 Rem 7 1/2 small rifle primers, a pound each of CFE223 and IMR4350.

Also scored 200 9mm Hornady 115gr FMJ RN and 200 158gr XTPS, plus 100 Win 9mm casings.

Got home early enough to de-cap 100 LC cases.

Productive, but expensive day.

Worked on reorganizing the work room(still got a ways to go), and fixed the wobble my work bench developed after I fixed the floor under it.  Ordered arko bins to better organize my brass and bullets.  Opened up the primer pockets on some crimped 223 and trimmed the same cases.

Finally figured out why my 9mm handloads suck so bad, turns out I was using undersized plated bullets I acquired 7 years ago and never marked. 0.353-0.354" diameter

Cut open a new box of Berry's 115 gr and did a quick ladder up at 4.0, 4.3 and 4.6 gr of titegroup and am instantly shooting better after struggling so much.

I haven’t reloaded in years, but today I punched out my second lot of 100rds of 9mm.

Followed the same recipe as last time, since they worked well out of my 3 most-shot pistols.

5.1gr Power Pistol
115gr Everglades Ammo FMJ
Federal SPP

That’s a starting load in my Speer manual. Shoots very smoothly. Gonna load up a ladder and see how they perform later this weekend.

Need to find some 10mm equipment and components and work up a load this weekend for my new G20.

Tested two ladders of N120 in 300 BLK. By some miracle they were right where they needed to be, so I have a load for one that works great. The other I’m going to tweak OAL a bit as I had a few failure to feeds. I also plan on going to a heavier spring now that I’ve moved away from LilGun so I’ll end up swapping that out on the SCS.

10mm on the other hand I’m at a loss on. 800-X will not give me consistent velocities, leading to high ES and high SD. The AutoTrickler is getting charge weights right on, so it’s not that.

I have considered the possibility of recoil spring being too light (causing early unlock) but even with a heavier spring it does it. Going to circumvent the pass through powder/expander die with the powder and funnel it in the case directly. Only thing I can think of is it’s getting hung up in the die leading to inaccurate charge weights in the case.

Other than that not sure what to do besides a different powder. Blue Dot or #9 maybe.

DF if you have better luck with the 800-X you recently picked up PM me if you don’t mind so I can get specifics on what you’re doing. This is the first work up that has ever stumped me.

Went to the local gun/sporting goods/hardware/farm supply/cool stuff store yesterday after reading the "Best 32 ACP to buy" thread in GD.

Walked to the ammo shelf and sure enough, 6 boxes of brass cased 32 acp and 2 boxes of 25 acp were the only pistol ammo available.

I bought 4 boxes of 32 acp for the brass. Came home, ordered a Beretta 81 for $315 shipped to a local FFL.

Went to the loading bench, pulled out the 32 H&R mag dies and found a single piece of fired 32 acp brass in my stash and made a dummy round using a 75 gr Powder coated cast bullet to the exact OAL that my Lyman manual says to load to. This was the first time my manual had the EXACT cast bullet I had in the EXACT cartridge I was loading for. lol.

I am excited about a new caliber.

.32 ACP is fun to shoot, and the Beretta 81 should be a great pistol for it.  My Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless is a hoot to shoot.

My loading activities today were more indirect.  I received a nice 10” LCD monitor with HDMI, VGA and AV inputs ($50 from Amazon) on Friday.  I’ll use this for several tasks, including having a direct wired monitor for my Raspberry Pi computer.  But the AV input is important here, because the cheap little video camera I had stashed away from my previous work with my Hornady LnL AP is AV.

After ensuring everything worked, I verified that the 12v power supply for the monitor will also power the camera through a Y cable.  Yep, no sweat there.

Now I’m working on a mount for the little camera.  It’s roughly a cube 1” on a side with a cable coming out the bottom, and I need to have it pointed at the indicator on my powder scale.  So far I have a pretty good idea for the mount, and I’ll have to build a power cable for it.  Pictures later, maybe.

Had a full range session shooting my 9mm reloads.

Word out: When you test shoot your reloads, make sure you shoot a full mag or 2.

When I test fired my reloads, they functioned fine when loading a mag 5 rounds. However, a full mag for my 1911 pushed the FN into the front of the mag body, i.e., they wouldn't feed. 3-5 rounds, no problem. For my 1911, I'll need RN and/or loading to a longer OAL.

Full mag, the FN function fine in my Walther Q5.

My project for this weekend was to convert a couple thousand fired milsurp 5.56 blanks to 300 Blackout.

My case conversion process is to cull out the unfired blanks, cut the fired blanks to length, decap, anneal, size, trim to length, and finally - check dimensions with case gauge.  I'm pretty happy with the results and will be loading up some 220gr subs at some point this week.

I found the secret cave where RL26 is, where StaBall 6.5 can be found and 1000 LR primers can be purchased. I see very little load data on forums for StaBall or where to find post for StaBall. I do have my own load info on RL26 and I see a lot of others using RL26  so I bought more RL26 and 1000 CCI 200 LR.

Processed brass today.
750 pieces of 9mm, 500 45acp, 200 44mag, 350 38spl, and ~100 9mm mak.

Realized that while that was productive, I'm now in dire need of SPP.
