Best place to get cheap training bullets for 300 blackout?
Don't care subs or supers. My first ar pistol, just need some trigger time to train on a small platform. |

Or try these Sierra 110 grain HP bullets for a little bit more (.29 each) I really like these for supers, and they're quite accurate. Of course if they were a little cheaper, I'd like that a lot! Another option is surplus 150 grain (usually anywhere from 147-150 grain) FMJ bullets. My 150 grain Blackout rounds are supersonic and pretty dependably accurate (within limits, of course). Using "good" 150s, like Hornady's FMJs or SPs, my rounds are more accurate than I usually am. |

Anyone have a source for CCI small pistol and/or small rifle primers?
Midway has them for not great, but fair prices, however the have a limit of one box of 1000 per order. Once you factor in Hazmat on a single box it becomes not so great pricing. Would I be better off getting on a notify list somewhere and wait? ETA: noticed brownells has 5000 ct cases but their hazmat is almost double what Midway charges and no free shipping. Midway has free shipping over $49 |

Get your 5k Limit and fill the rest of the Hazmat order with powder of your choice. If you're willing to pay a little more, they also have Federal Match Small Pistol Primers for $37.50/k. I think you can order 5k of each product per order... Toss in 20 lbs of powder and you've made up for the Hazmat fee. Just noticed you're looking for CCI... for pistol does it matter much? If you're using mixed brass any consistency gained by sticking with one primer brand probably won't make it thru the noise. |

I just asked about CCI because it's the only thing I have used before because I could get them pretty much anywhere locally. My main concern is getting something I can start collecting a box or three every few weeks and build up a stash of all the same primers so I don't have to redo any loads. I want to work up a load I like for plinking that's works in all my 9mm guns and make a bunch of them whenever I get the free time to sit at the loading bench. @TX_Vette PLEASE NO MORE MESSAGES. This thread is for "Where to find" posts only. dryflash3 |

If you have a Sportsman's Warehouse close to you, check them out. I was able to buy 1k CCI BR2 primers for $40 and a 4 lb jug of 800x for $79 yesterday. They limit you to 1k primers in store per day, but I was able to place an order online for pickup in store for a few thousand small pistol primers @ $23 per k

BS with the reloading manager, talk shop a bit. Best price on Primers you'll find! I managed to grab some LPP for $23-28/k OTD. Decent selection of powder too if you need to restock. My last two bottles of Bullseye were from 2014 (tagged $45 each during that panic!), so I bought what they had. I think this counts as a tool.
I got this 48” shop light from Harbor Freight to light my whole bench (and probably the whole 10x10 room). With the coupon code on this page it was $19.99 instead of the listed $29.99 (or the shelf price of $34.99). I may need to go back and get a few more, but since the coupon has a “limit 1”, I’ll do it on subsequent days. |

That’s what I had to do to get the order to go through. A person could probably place several orders for pickup and pickup on same day. ETA: Just placed another order for 4k large pistol and 2k small pistol. It let me add 1k of each type to the cart and checkout. Pickup day is same day as my previous order, July 10th. |
