Note that their inventory management is awful- a lot of what they have on the site listed in stock, they don't have. I've heard from others as well on snipers hide of items not being sent in orders and extremely slow shipping.

I believe they are closing out and therefore are probably not full time anymore. I picked up a set of 221 Redding Dies a while back and it wasn't too bad

It looks like MidwayUSA has permanently changed their HAZMAT charge structure.

Look about halfway down on the link...  "Additional Charges for Certain Types of Products and Orders".  $10.99 for powder, and $9.99 for primers...  Remember that Midway ships primers separate from powder (they have different warehouses, so they kind of have to), so they can't combine powder and primers in a single HAZMAT charge.

Is anyone cheaper than powder valley right now?

Went over to Academy yesterday and they matched Cabela's sale on Hornady bullets with 5% off that.

So, what normally would've been $49.99+tax for a box of 250 55gr V-Max bullets turned into $34.19+tax.

10% off Hornady Zmax Bullets at Powder Valley, through Weds while supplies last.

The Z in Zmax stands denotes Zombie marketing, the tip is green rather then Red.

The 50 grain Zmax (Code HOR 22262) bullet is the same as the 50g Vmax (according to Hornady when I inquired a few years ago + Hornady published measurements and BC + witnessed performance) but for the color of the tip, and more importantly to me....the price.   Performance and everything else is the same for me, ymmv.

500 packs.

I can't speak to the comparison on the 55 grainers to the Vmax..... I haven't talked to Hornady about those.   But, it wouldn't surprise me if it isn't the same story.

Unless you find pulls Idon't think you'll find 158's in 9mm as a component, at least for a decent price. The Xtreme 165gr 9mm bullets work well though, just make sure to run them through a Lee FCD

There's always plated 158 gr .357 bullets. I've used them with no issues for 9mm before

Most 357 bullets chamber fine in a 9mm. Or one can size them down a thou with a Lee push through die.

Eggleson Munitions has 200g PCC 30 cal bullets.

If ordering 2k, with BIGGUNNER81 code for 10% off, comes out to $220.46 shipped. Which is about $.11 CPR.

I have never tried them, but I used to order a lot of my bullets from egglestons.

I went with Kaleo Arms for unprocessed, once fired LC in a 50cal ammo can. Was the best price I could find, and the ammo can was a nice bonus.

I asked Hornady about this and the ZMAX are just VMAX with a different colored tip, with the exception of their .310” offering. Here’s what I got from them:

Thank you for the inquiry.  The Zmax bullets in 17 caliber through 6mm are similar to our Vmax bullets of the same weight.  The .310” Zmax bullet is similar to our .310” SST.  The differences between the Zmax bullets and their counterparts is the color of the tip and the quantity that they are packaged in.  When working up loads for the Zmax bullets, you can use the same charge weight range listed for the Vmax or SST counterpart, be sure to start with lower charges and work up from there.  Thank you

Looking to get 5-10k of plated or FMJ 147gr 9mm. Any ‘best cost per bullet’ ideas with shipping and coupon codes available?

Along that vein, any 4th of July coupon codes or applied discounts for bulk bullets received or seen on websites?

Anyone know where to get a good deal on small pistol (std. or magnum) primers? Looking for about 10k.

All of the listings on ammo wiki, gun bot, gun deals, etc. seem to be out of stock or priced at like $30 plus hazmat, plus shipping. I am not used to paying $360 for 10k primers.

I have been looking around for some Dillon bits for a 650 conversion.  I am surprised to find that Grafs has lower prices than anywhere and free shipping.  (one time $7.95 handling fee, but that can be spread out a lot for a decent order)

Amazon is carrying some Dillon stuff, but Grafs beats them too.

RMR has a bunch of good products.  Here are their in-house 124gr FMJs at a great price.

Their plated bullets are also solid performers.  Like these.

Then there are these “multi purpose” hollow points.
