I'm preparing to need to cast in the future (god I hope not) so am acquiring molds for my favorite guns. Saw this one posted on the 10mm forum and it looks like a great deal so bought one. $80-100 elsewhere (mostly OOS):

looking for 32 S&W Short brass. Not a lot, just 100 or so just for fun.
I am hoping for used or someone who has some laying around. $20+ per 100 from midway or starline seems like a lot for something that is so tiny and niche. |

Everglades Ammo has 300 Blackout 220gr Plated Bullets in stock, 250 for $89 shipped.
While this is not a smoking deal (in March 2020, I got 1000 for $199), they are decent bullets. The main caveat is to keep them under 1300fps (really 1200fps) so they don't strip the copper plating off and leave it in your barrel. I use them for subsonic practice rounds, varmits, and have even taken a couple of deer with them. |

I put in an order with American Reloading a few days ago for 3k of 124 grain HST pulls. Processed fine then I immediately got a back-order notice. WTF- it showed in stock the second my cart processed. Guessing they're being snapped up that quickly. I was about to get around to cancelling my order and complaining when late last night I received a shipping notice.
WHY PERTINENT TO THIS THREAD: If you put in an order with American Reloading and that happens, sit tight for a few days: they took care of me in this instance, which I feel is GREAT as those bullets are still showing OOS on their website. |

I have a winchester 94 View Quote The bullet diameter is .308, same as 308win, 300BLK, etc. If you're using a lever action like a model 94 Winchester you usually want to avoid FMJ or hard lead spire point rounds to prevent chain detonation. Most people use flat nose, round nose should be fine, they also make a polymer tipped one that is fine for lever actions. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018229522 https://redriverreloading.com/outdoor-store?route=product/product&product_id=187883&p=Hornady-30-Caliber-308-160gr-FTX-Bullets-100&r=ammoseek https://www.hornady.com/bullets/rifle/30-cal-308-160-gr-ftx-30-30-win# https://www.hornady.com/bullets/monoflex# https://www.brownells.com/reloading/bullets/rifle-bullets/30-caliber-0-308-140gr-gmx-monoflex-50-box-sku749009729-39817-72573.aspx?avad=74383_e1d309cb9&aid=56335&cm_mmc=affiliate-_-Itwine-_-Avantlink-_-Custom+Link&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=Avantlink&utm_content=NA&utm_campaign=Itwine https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/rifle/30-30-win-160-gr-ftx-leverevolution# |

Found these CCI No. 34 primers in stock & ordered a couple boxes along with some powder. Never ordered from them before, anyone else used them? Says "may take up to 7 to 10 business days to process and ship" which is pretty standard now days.
https://reloadingunlimited.com/product/cci-no-34-7-62-nato-spec-large-military-rifle-primers-1000-count/ Found these guys showing CCI large & small rifle primers along with CCI small pistol that all have the add to cart button but doesn't say whether they are in stock or not. I've heard of them, but never ordered from them either & I'm not sure if they'd just put me on a back order list so I didn't order any. http://www.americanspecialtyammo.com/Primers.html |

PV keeps having primers pop in stock, but it's always one box at a time, or at least has been the past few days.
Not really interested in buying 1 box and paying hazmat plus shipping. Not quite that desperate yet. Almost bought 1k LPP anyway, but decided against it. 1 minute later it was gone. |

Powder wasn't quite as low as other places but I didn't want to spend hazmat & shipping fees at a 2nd place which would have wiped out the little price difference to begin with. If I had prior experience with them, I probably would've ordered more primers. |

Hornady 220gr .308 RN $29/100
https://www.munitionsexpress.com/hornady-interlock-30-caliber-308-diameter-220gr-round-nose-100-box/ I've never ordered from this place before, but the price is about $7-8 per box cheaper then anywhere else I've seen. Shipping is a flat $7.99 also. I've read good reviews for these bullets as subs for 300 B.O., or using them to approximate an original load for 30-40 Krag. |

Selling your guns to a buyback because you feel criminals have too many firearms, is like getting yourself castrated because you feel the neighbors have too many children.
