Well,  I'm a little late to the party, but I'm here.  I finally filed my Form 1 to SBR my GSG5.  Trying to source a 5p barrel to avoid cutting my 16 inch barrel (although that's an option).  Where did you guys get yours?  ATI does not list them on the website and eBay doesn't show any either.  Additionally, what about a "muzzle device"?  SWARFworks, Gemtec, etc all show out of stock on their thread adaptors.  What will fill the threads where the faux suppressor threads on?

Thanks

Just call ATI, my barrel was $65 I think.  Good people to deal with on the phone too.

I called ATI yesterday.  The GSG-522P 9" Light Weight barrel is out of stock and on back order.  Just a FYI.

Just out of curiosity, why did you start with a carbine instead of just going with the 522p then adding a stock? Just seems like more hassle unless I'm missing something?

Because I've had a carbine since ... oh, about 08.  It's just taken me this long to decide to run with the project.

Makes sense. I haven't come across a thread adapter in a few months unless you pick one up used.
You could always look into doing an integral suppressor with yourcurrent barrel.
