Quoted: They were offering it with and without serrations. Dont suppose you asked for non serrated? I live the tanto and half serrated. View Quote I inquired about the program and was given a list of what they offered and didn’t see the serrated vs non offering. It was in 2017. I didn’t mind at the time due to the price savings. I have since found a cheaper vendor which negates that to an extent. About $65 more than the public safety price. |

They have a much larger offerings than just the ultratech now. |

Had my fill of Microtech when dealing with their AUG clone. The quality of those was well below par. Pretty much everything about those and the company went downhill.

I’m really digging the D/E blade shape.
Anyone with experience with the Dirac Delta vs. Combat Troodon? Are these two just overly large? I normally carry a Spyderco Pacific Salt. I’ve never handled any of these... just looking on paper. |

View Quote I bought a 4th gen MSAR STG-556 Bought the Steyr looking optic from them to replace the short rail that came with the rifle. Discovered that the optic only adjusted diagonally then went out completely. Customer service (after Dave left) explained that they could no longer service or replace them and only offered to replace it with a rail (which I already had) And then I discovered that the bolt and bolt sleeve starting impacting and peening the trunnion. MSAR’s fix was to just machine away the impacted and damaged area rather than fix the actual problem or replace anything. |

Microtech Ultratechs are visually stunning, but I find them too skinny for my average size hands. Makes a nice, expensive letter opener. The Troodon or knock off Cleric (left) fills the hand and has that real-knife feel and control. |
