Quoted: I'm just curious what everyone that carries, knife-wise what they carry. Do you carry a: Folder Fixed Blade or something other? I carry a small Gerber folder that you can get from Walmart for under 30.00 or one that looks almost the same as it, but has a S&W logo on it. I rotate and keep a spare. I do like fixed blades, but feel it would be bit much for the office and wearing around town. I mean I don't really care what others think, I just don't like drawing attention to any guns or knives that I carry. View Quote I was carrying a lock back tactical style folder as a “get the fuck off me” knife and an SAK for personal use (Toothpick/box opener/ cutting apples etc.). I pretty much ditched the lock back. |

If I have pants on, I have my knife... And sometimes even if I don't have pants on.
Usually it's a Spyderco PM2 or ZT0562cf, and if I can ever find a Microtech Socom Elite I'd carry that, but they are pretty much unobtanium. |

lately I have been carrying a CRKT SPEW upside down hanging off my belt, concealed in my left pocket. my thumb pulls the paracord & the sheathed knife comes out into my hand. it can be drawn from the sheath by either hand. its handy, but the left hand can use it in case of a serious gun snatcher on the right. (I carry at 3:00) I also have several of the CRKT Burnley Japanese style fixed blades I`m trying in the same place. the right rear pocket keeps one of a dozen or so folding knives, all are at least 4" of blade & most are flippers. if they are not flippers they are old Cold Steel Voyagers.

The whole “I spent money on this, but I’m going to waste it by throwing it away or getting rid of it for something they did years after buying the product.” Argument never made sense to me. Use it, abuse it, get your money’s worth and if you need to replace it. Replace it with something else If you don’t agree with them anymore. |

Firecracker OTF and a Leatherman Squirt live on my keychain with magnetic attachments, so just a pull and it's free.

I voted folder as that is what I carry probably 80% of the time. That folder is almost always a Spyderco of some flavor. I have 5 or 6 versions of the Dragonfly, including a Version 1.0. Or I could carry a Native 1.0. Or a Delica Or a PM2. I will admit that Spydie Dragonflys are my first love in pocket knives with the PM2 running a close 2nd. I'm not fond of the location of the locking method on the PM2 but I love the knife design and size. My next knife will likely be a Spydie Manix.
Once in a while it's a Benchmade Butch Ball 300-1 Axis flipper. Same same with a Kershaw Chive. The other 20%? 19% of the time it will be either ESEE Candirus or Izulas. I have three of each as well as one Izula 2. While I like the bigger ESEE knives (3, 4, and 5 with the 4s being my favorite sized fixed blade knives), they are not on my EDC list. Woods walking, GMG, Battle Belt / Chest rig knives... yes. EDC, no. |

One of these three depending on what I'm doing.

Spyderco Tenacious and it's probably my all time favorite for daily use. Takes a hair shaving edge really easily and is a great size. Prior to my Spyderco I carried a $500 BM... I love having something now I can just hand off to a buddy and not worry about.
