For those interested in a big knife/short sword that is a little out of the ordinary.
The first production run from Boker sold out years ago. I just found out that these are available, and from what I gather, made from better steel to boot. ~ $290 from the usual suspects, google search popped up several retailers that had them in stock.

I met Col. Applegate at a gun show in Ashland Oregon back in the late 70s.First time I saw a Smatchet.
