i see them on gunbroker for 2grand for bolt actions with scopes and bipod, are they any good?

For about $2000, how are those 50BMG AR uppers? Ultramax makes them I think?

They've worked well for me. They aren't really geared toward 'match' shooting, but are a lot of fun for .50 caliber plinking out to 500yds or so... (I only have the 18"-22" models)

Want an accurate 50BMG upper, call ALS and wait in line for one of their match uppers. They are remarkably accurate.

Yes I have one and even though it has the milspec chamber instead of match chamber it still fired a .47 inch 3 shot test group with 750grn Amaxes.

Vulcan = Hesse. Based on reputation I'd avoid them. Never heard of anyone killed shooting one, but who wants to be the first?
