Hello, i was wondering if the AR50 is chambered and able to shoot both new commercial and match ammo as well as older surplus stuff such as AP, APIT, tracer, etc....

Although I have never sprung the $4.50 each for match ammo, I have sent a fair number of surplus AP and ball 50BMG down range with the AR-50. Everything incendiary is not legal here and get's you kicked out of the ranges I belong to.

I believe the AR-50 will digest just about anything out there commercially available.

The ar-50 has a lawyers chamber, anything will fit in it. I load my own match rounds and I can't get amax bullets seated far enough out to start to engage the lands and groves.

wow, thats good to hear.  thanks for the replies.  i can definately see more tracer and surplus stuff thru the pipe than match, but good to know i coud use both. (when i finally get an AR50 one day,)   thanks for the help!!!
