Before becoming an AR enthusiast my only rifle was a left handed bolt action. It made sense at the time; A left handed person should shoot a left handed gun. But now that I'm well versed in the AR platform, I prefer keeping that left hand where it is and using the right hand for charging, reloading, etc. Snap shooting and speed reloads are less likely on a BMG. But keeping that left hand on the grip and leaving all other tasks for the right hand still makes sense.
My question is, does a right bolt make more sense for a lefty on a BMG rifle? I'd like to hear from repeater and semi-auto BMG shooters with experience shooting from the left.
