I am considering buying a .50 cal.   My gun club has a 300 yard range, is that long enough for the .50?   Or should I look into a  AR witha 20-24" barrell?    Suggestions please.

Hell, there is a nice gentleman that used to shoot his M-82a1 at a 25m indoor range a few years ago.  He was shooting it before he even had optics.  Go for it.

Is this the same user that accidently put a .50 cal round through the roof of the range?  And I mean Through....

He put a round through the roof?  Wonder if the gun clubs thoughts on shooting a .50 changed?
