I picked up some linked 50 and wanted to confirm my ID of the ammo and get some idea what it is worth,

100 round belt Aluminum Tip/Red Tip 4/1 I'm presuming is API - API/T - all headstamped TW52 or TW54
60 round belt Black Tip AP headstamped TW 52

One sealed waxed carton marked:

60 RD LKD-CAL 50
LINKED AP    M2
LOT TWL92353

Which I presume is what it contains.

I only paid $225 for all of it, so I'm not concerned I overpaid. Just wondering if there's some value (or lack thereof) I'm not aware of.

TIA

Sounds like it might be original manufacture, which means it is corrosive.

It is still valuable to shooters, but not as much as if it was remanufactured.

220 rounds would probably fetch between $250 and $300.

You can get 150 rounds of remanufactured for $199 shipped.

It may not be corrosive.  The military started switching to non-corrosive in the early 50's.  1952 or 1954 was the cutoff.  Clean it up right away and no problem.
