What reticle is being used in the Razor hd 1-6? Are these unit purchases or individual purchases?

I would assume most of the Razors you see were individually procured. It's a work in progress, but I managed to piece together this build over the last few weeks (I'm still looking for a NF pattern Wilcox Docter/MRDS mount):
- 16" SCAR17 - Geissele 2-Stage SCAR Trigger - PWS Rail Extension - FH762SV-SCAR Flash Hider - Surefire FA762SV Suppressor - Nightforce 2.5-10x24 Scope (1.5" NF Rings) - L3 MRDS in Larue MRDS Mount - ATLAS B10 Bipod & ARMS 17S Mount - PEQ15 SCAR17 by Black Rifle, on Flickr |

What suppressors are you seeing most often on these 17s/20s? I've been told the 762SVs were issued, but I've also been told everything is being phased out for 762 SOCOM RCs. And add a little of FN's proprietary suppressor, too. Wondering what would be most correct for a mk20, in particular when us grubby civilians get em. |

Couple ex team dudes talking about the 17 and why they don't like it. Basic summary is that it's accurate, but unreliable in dirty environments. Can was heavy and sucked (assume they're talking about the FN can, not the AAC)

I am going to guess that they were just worn out guns, not much different than what happened with mk11/M110's back in the day. While I think the Scar has a number of short comings, reliability isnt one of them as long as they are maintained. It wouldn't surprise me if one of the teams had a more difficult time keep their Scars up vs a SF group.

I'd say the reason ODA's have more success with the Mk.17 as apposed to NSW is the confidence I have in 18B's. Also with the UW mission set I find 18 series guys take better care of kit, a good team daddy is going to reinforce that team kit is what you go to war with, in this day and age an ODA WILL be isolated from friendly forces. Cause they're gonna "use" it some day and it'll be all they have probably ever. Regiment and NSW seem to fucking wreck shit, then hit up the MFP 11 funds for new shit.

Borrowed from Recoil's article for IDF sniper comp. MK20 on deck. Can anyone ID the optic? I'm also assuming that the group is NSW based on AOR1, but the Helstar IFF light makes me question it. Unless only one specific group of NSW uses S&S Manta's?

The thing about it is that the upper receiver is done in that really gold new anodizing they’ve been cranking out in the past few years. It’s not the green-ish/more tan anodizing they used to be. I’m wondering if this thing is just going to look awful and/or stupid as a clone if I decide to go down that road. I’m sure it’s a fine rifle, but I’m not sure about the gold anodizing. Disregard how it’s set up right now, as I know it’s nowhere near “correct”. I snapped the pic right after I bought it and then put it away. Should give you an idea of the anodizing https://scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/f7e81dd96d946a949989fa6970dbe497/5C883842/t51.2885-15/e35/19985570_1530219823689430_2511208042998005760_n.jpg?se=7 View Quote |
