In terms of the BDC, how close would the stadia lines be? From my understanding it's drawn up from a 22" barrel shooting 150's?

Ps I haven't picked out a particular anmo, but let's say something in the 147-168gr range or perhaps 175 if that's closer? Thank you!

from a reliable source:

The TA11H-308 was tested using 7.62mm 175grain M118LR & 147grain M80 ammo w/ velocity average of 2651 and 2810fps out of a DMR 20” & M240 23.6”weapon....
....308 version based on the 175gr @ 2651 fps. All widths of bdc lines are representing 19in at each of the given distances. Center Dot is the 100 meter ZERO and is 2MOA, w/ no defined 200 meter mark

-- 4.7 moa to 300
-- 8.3 moa to 400
-- 12.4 moa to 500
-- 17.0 moa to 600

From here down is for the M240 @ 2810 fps.

-- 22.4 moa to 700
-- 29.2 moa to 800
-- 37.2 moa to 900
-- 46.4 moa to 1000
-- 56.7 moa to 1100
-- 68.0 moa to 1200

The horizontal stadia are called TRS, standing for “Target Reference System” which allows an operator in a team to call off another target(s) in his/her field of view without moving off his/her currently engaged target. The spaces are in 5 MIL increments.

some interpolation may be required
YMMV

I use a TA31 that has a M4A1 reticle

First hash = 2"/MOA @ 100yrds
Second Hash = 5.5"/MOA @ 100yrds

Eta: Getting a chronograph and understanding your rounds trajectory out your SCAR then enables a more accurate reading for you to adjust. Basically make the reticle work for you not the other way around. For example I am using Federal 150gr all Copper Hollow Points when I am out night hunting and Federal XM80 for range. The difference in gr/fps is negligible for my use which is out to 300yrds, but if I needed to go out further knowing the drop values of my hashes aides in my shot.

I used one on my 17s in the past and shot 149gr M80 ball out to 750 yards and the stadia lines were close enough for government work.  I would have been comfortable carrying that setup in Indian country if it came down to it.

I reference to loads my SCAR liked the 168 more than the 175 I suspect because of FN using the 1:12 instead of a 1:10.

The TA11J-308's moa numbers are identical to these for anyone wondering..  just a crosshair instead of the horseshoe.
