Why not impregnate a cut down .20 feeler gauge (Spark plug gap checker) in the bearing surfaces. Feeler Gauges are already hardened steel and would work for the long term. JB Weld it. Epoxy it. Create an indention to glue it in where the bearing surface is. A super simple solution for reliability I think. |
