Talk to Sean Lindley at TXMGO. He buys more 203s and barrels from LMT than anyone other than the government. He has the best prices. Hit him up in Facebook. Tell him Wingnut sent ya. I may get a tshirt out of it.

thanks for the lead. the one i have now is 2 halves of demilled barrels that i got for pretty dirt cheap. Its actually kinda funny that they are considered demilled cuz i can chamber a round in the one half and there is enough rifling to get it spinning

Well, the ATF cashed my check for my Form 1 on my DSA M203...now for the wait.   I'll have to start saving my nickels, dimes and quarters for a barrel.

Is there an adapter to make one of these rail mount?

Anyone engraving their barrel?
Suggestions on mounting it in a vice without damaging it?

Turns out that 1" electrical PVC couplings can fit exactly in a 40mm bore. Made a PVC jig to hold it. Worked great.

And now you've discovered another projectile source as well

Any updates from DSA on their receivers or 37mm barrels?

Not a peep so far. You can't be in the DD game without patience, that's for damn sure.

My patience springs eternal since I waited 50 years to escape NJ and to have freedom of choice.

It's about time to ask them for an update.  Wonder if they still follow their industry forum page

They do follow their page. I just got this update from there which really isn't an update:

Unfortunately we do not have a time frame on when we will be doing another run of these frames but I do know we will make more of these.

I know that we looked into material and whatnot for the 37mm barrels but do not believe that anything has been put in motion.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks wreckless.  Now I don't have to ask

I'm hoping they make some 9" barrels. I asked a while ago and they said that they were in the pipeline

Not sure why they made the 12" barrel before the 9". I would think the 9" would be cheaper to produce and more popular

Whatever the case, I don't want to complain. It's cool that they are are doing anything

So now that some people have had their DSA M203s for a while now, how do you like them? How do they compare to say the LMT or Colt M203s?

Debating getting one and and either building a M16a2 clone to attach it to, or sticking it on the Colt 727 i am in the middle of putting together.

This is the latest update I have received on 5/28/19:

The CS guys are waiting as well  Manufacturing keeps bumping these while we try and get caught up on our Israeli Light Barrel FAL project. Hopefully once we are in better shape with that we can try and get these a slot on our manufacturing schedule.

Thanks to everyone for their patience!

Thanks, Mike

Thanks for the update

I've been happy with mine, only had it out once so far. Still working on the loads for chalk rounds

1" PVC couplers work well enough for 40mm projectile bodies. You still have to do something for a cap and base, of course.
