I think it would be cool and entertainingly ironical if Howard could make some adaptors for omegas/sakers for Q Cherry bomb muzzle devices and tapered barrels.

But I'm a firm believer that the answer to almost any "can he make" question is "yes". The real question, assuming the item is truly an accessory and doesn't require an FFL, is whether or notthe item be worth the time/money for a one-off piece. If there was a demand for it, or you wanted to buy multiples, maybe so...

Just FYI for anyone looking, he's been basically shut down for the last couple months. Supposedly too slammed with his other real job to fulfill any new orders.

I am also interested in Howard's work.  Please forward me his contact info (if he wouldn't mind). Thanks for your time!

(EDIT: I am interested in a Blast Shield for the MAAD Mount)

Anybody have any contact with Howard lately... I emailed him in March and he replied that he was swamped at work and hoped to get back to the orders in April.
I emailed him again last week and no reply...  has this custom supply run its course???  Need a flap cap in 556 and 7.62 for my Omega, and Silencerco is have a discount this weekend.

Want to give Howard the biz if he is still in the biz...

I wouldn't hold out on buying just to give him business. It seems like he was pretty slammed as it is, and he's had this side business on pause since at least Feb now. Who knows when he'll start back up.

May I please have his contact info?

Anyone heard anything recently?

Alternatively, are there drawings / CAD files that have been shared for adapters (saw it mentioned that DM shared some)? have a machinist in the fam. Guess I could grab my DT adapters from SOT and just have them re-created. Also have a WO blast shield for YHM to get the mount on that but files would make it really simple.

I'd like to get a Ti YHM short adapter, Ti 1/2 DT, and possibly a Ti 5/8 DT. Might even be interested in a Ti griffin adapter.

I've been waiting since February for an Omega end cap. As others have said, he must be very busy with his normal work. I have heard nothing from him since he emailed me in March to tell me it will be a little longer.

I've seen them with flats that would help you remove the adapter from the barrel if the tube unscrewed and left it behind, but not sure exactly what you're asking about.

So, according to this thread, Howard can make me a 51T adapter and Ti flat caps on 556 and 7.62 for a SiCo Omega?

So if I have a ton of AAC mounts, I can order an Omega sans any mounting equipment except for a direct thread module and Howard can hook me up with the rest making my Omega can lighter and shorter?

I believe he makes an adapter to mount the saker MAAD mounts to the omega.  The MAAD mounts from SiCo are, trifecta, ASR, aac 51t, and yhm. So if bought from SiCo direct you could buy a 51t mount for $162 + shipping then and adapter from Howard and use 51t qd mounts with your Omega. So to reiterate Howard doesn’t make a 51t mount just an adapter to fit the Omega to the Saker MAAD mounts as they are a different thread then the Omega.

Wasn't sure if that's what you wanted, or the 3-lug wrenches Howard made. I don't have one of those, but might have a pic saved.

I'm interested in the 3-lug wrench, as well. There seems to be a distinct shortage of 3-lug tools on the market for some reason.

Thanks!

The $10 accessory Griffin Revolution wrench has a 3-lug opening as well as buffer tube castle nut wrench.  I modified that to lock on Octane fixed mounts and it still engages castle nuts. I needed it to use it on the scalloped Griffin 3-lug mount as well.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but you may find this useful until you get a purpose built tool made.

The only 3-lug wrenches I could find are Griffin, HKParts, NAAH, & HB Industries. NAAH/HB appear to be the same, and are the only ones I've found that allow for using a torque wrench.

Thanks, those are the wrenches I was thinking of! If he could add a 3/8" square drive in the middle, they would be absolutely perfect!

Any idea what the lead time would be on something like this? It sounds like there's already a serious backlog.

Choices are good.

The other thread shows Q's ASR thread compatible mount and brake weigh 3.5oz.  Repeating my KB-inspired comment here:

DM's Ti Tapermount for ASR threaded tubes paired with Griffins minimalist Ti brake is only 2.3 oz compared to KB's bloated 3.5oz setup with the fugly coffee percolator-filter brake.  Looks like something from an Italian road racing bicycle from the 70s all drilled out Super Legere.  But I'd buy it just because I love the look of H900 17-4.

Just like with Key Mo and Area 419 I think this is a great idea. People stay within suppressor family often because of mount monotony. Cross pollinating mounts and cans opens this up.  Looking forward to seeing the street price.
