I have been put back on more of the spindle projects 300lbs to 20lbs, what a time consuming project. I have tried to check up on custom orders, have 5 more to go. |

Like any project, rough up the surface with sandpaper, scotchbrite, or sandblaster, and thoroughly degrease before applying the coating. Follow any cure instructions. You can probably get the header paint, degreaser, and scotchbrite at Autozone, Advance Auto, etc. Don't bother with BBQ grill paint. I tried it on an AK barrel and it came off very easily, not as flakes, but like black grease/carbon. |

His prices are much lower than the sico parts. He also makes fixed barrel adapters for barrel threads that sico doesn't make at all.

Got my stuff today. Beautiful!! Finally can mount a can on my Savage LRH in 300 Mag. Stupid oddball thread pitch (9/16x28) but this way there are no intermediary adapters to forget about or lose.
Knocked almost 3 oz. off my Omega which is nothing to sneeze at. 3-Lug wrench is nice too!! If you are on the fence just do it. Great product! I'm going to order at least one more when I get around to it. |

Got a end cap and direct thread adapter in from Howard this week. Quality looks good as well as finish. Still waiting on approval to try them out.

Shot mine a bit today. The 30 cal cap is a bit tighter (hole diameter) than the stock one. It's probably a bit quieter but bare ears wouldn't be able to tell.
The weight reduction caused my groups to be about 1.5" higher than before, just something for ya'll to keep in mind. I think it heats up a tad faster now but I'm not 100% sure. Six rounds of 300 Mag and it's cooking some mirage. |

Im using his DT 1/2-28 mount and 556 endcap for my bolt .17. I was shocked to feel how much weight his DT mounts save.

I need a yhm adapter for my omega 9k that should be out of jail when I get back from AFG in a couple of months. What are my options? He's been out of stock for months and months and months. I want a ti short one for the 9k, not regular omega- I think the threads are different. Also, does anyone know which of his direct thread adapters I would need to for the omega 9K? I have 5/8-24 300blk ...
ETA stainless is fine for the yhm mount. Might even be more durable w the ratchet teeth of the mount. Help! |
