They are far and few. My KAC dealer got 4 in out of the blue last year. He said he had them on order for over a year.

Also, KAC dealers don't discount these. I got him to sell it to me for $100.00 off MSRP. I got the last one of that order.

They come in 2 thread patterns. Right hand and left hand.  Mine is the UPS version.

The MK23 and USP45 are not interchangeable FYI. The springs and mounts are different, so if you try putting USP45 can on MK23 pistol, it won't run. New mounts are approx $600 if you can find them. Good luck.

I’ve been thinking I’d like ECCO @sixtysixdeuce to make a solvent trap which looks like the KAC for this application. I don’t care so much about the name but that welded look is just more correct for a Mk23 can than the typical Form1 or factory can offers.

I bought a KAC USP45-T can awhile back from Midwest Gun Works on closeout, for about $700?! and I thought I'd be slick and buy a RCM MK23 barrel, threaded M16x1LH... after several emails back and forth with KAC, turns out USP45-T and MK-23 booster assemblies are too far different. So, my USP-45 gets the can, and my MK23 gets to wear something else...

I don't know the retail price currently, but $1,200 sounds way too high for a K.  Look elsewhere.

Before the Hearing Protection Act became a debacle Dead Air sold the Sandman K with a "HPA xxxxx" serial number and discounted them so that the purchase price was around $500 or so and often could be found closer to $400 with a coupon or sale.  Dead Air raised the price once HPA flopped.  No cut on Dead Air for doing so as they always said the lower price was temporary.

I think mine was $550 from Silencer shop. It's built nice but really short, on a super sonic 30 cal pretty loud.
It does reduce recoil and flash.

Given the state of the firearms industry right now I wouldn’t hold your breath for any discounts or sales. If it’s in stock and you want it, buy it.

Looking for a M16x1 RH piston for Octane/Osprey (AC29).

I’ve seen a few out there from unproven sources. Looking for a trusted retailer.

Bauer Precision has the YHM R9 for $359.  They also have a sale on the YHM N20 for $770 and the Q Jumbo Shrimp for $750.

YHM Suppressors

I picked up an R9.  I was tempted by the N20 as well at that price.

That's a good price on the N20, very tempting....currently waiting for the R9 to come in stock at HansohnBrothers though.

I've been waiting on the R9 for a while at HB.  I was eyeing the N20 for two weeks on HB.  BP dropped the R9 first or I probably would have gotten the N20.  I might get an Obsidian 45 FDE at HB.  That will probably be my last can for a very long time.

I bought an R9 release day and just picked it up last week, I like it so much was looking to get a second one.
Albeit, hansohnbrothers just put their N20 on sale so I went ahead and bought it, it should match the R9 in short configuration and be even better in long configuration.
Now the wait begins but at least I picked 5 suppressors last week (batch approval) so I won't be as impatient waiting this time around.

Welp, with their small discount code, I couldn't pass it up.  I just bought the other N20 they had.  Now I'm really done.
