I just pulled the trigger on an Osprey .45 yesterday, myself! Waiting is the hardest part.

I sent my Form 4 to the BATFE on the 20th... I'm pretty Psyched.

I hope I'm not in the Field when my Paperwork comes back.

What part of KY ya in? Did you find someone that has one in stock?

Louisville. I'm getting mine from C3Man (Rex Tyson) who has several form 3's inbound at the moment. He says his will be in hand in a few days, but I believe they may be spoken for (the FDE is mine!). You should contact him to see if any are still available.

What thread pitch on the 220? Did you look down the pipe and see anything different?

I got mine in last week and immediately took it out for a spin on my USPT. SWEET!!! And the pouch was icing on the cake.

Pulled the trigger myself today on a FDE Osprey .45 with a .40 piston. So now the hard part Thanks Wyldman for turning me on to Rex, hes a very helpful guy.

In case you misplace one?

Mr Stoner...I HATE you...that's (one) of the setups I'll have.
I know all about the wait. I remember actually being able to forget about my SBR paperwork....I don't know how good I'll be this time

He is that, for certain, and you are most welcome. You'll find that Rex is, indeed, one of the good guys.

I'm pretty sure it's 5/8-28 on the Sig. Sucks they couldn't just make it the standard 5/8-24, cost me an extra $75 to get yet another piston...

Hopefully I'll have my Rossi 92 back in my hands shortly so I can post a pic of the Osprey mounted up to the 'ol .44mag. Tornado Technologies has been working on it for awhile now. Silencerco cut me an extra long piston so it can thread back onto the barrel of the Rossi and we won't have to cut the magazine tube down any. Should be quiet a fun deer gun...

Make sure ya get a 1/2-28 piston for any 9mm Glocks you may have. Awesome! My 45 Osprey is quieter than any dedicated 9mm can I've witnessed shootin 9s through it.. Even with the .50 exit hole of the 45 Osprey. The shorter 9mm Osprey is sweet, but I cant image its much quieter than the much larger internal volume of the 45 can with 9 piston, but ya cant go wrong with both. Oh yeah, if you have any .44 special/mag or 45 Long colt long guns the fixed spacer piece makes your Osprey a hard smacking silent pellet rifle. Once your toy makes it into your dealer you shouldnt have to wait longer than 2 months. At least my experience is I've never had to wait longer than 6 weeks from check cashed by NFA.

I was impressed how light the can is on my USPT. I also have a 220 & 1911 I'm thinking about suppressing and would prefer only using one piston but it might be difficult getting LH thread. What says the hive?

The Rossi should be done "hopefully" by the end of this week... And you can look forward to pics. I haven't seen any pics of the Osprey on a levergun. Heck, I've only seen one or two other folks who have put a can on a lever gun; besides Teddy Roosevelt and his Model 94 30-30 w/Maxim of course...
