Recently picked up a .22mag bolt gun and rebuilt my squirrel blaster with an SPR inspired theme to complement my 10/22 as suppressor hosts. I just love suppressed rimfire guns.

Put together a new upper with a BA 18in SPR profiled barrel. Going to run the Sandman K for now until I can get an AEM5 later this year hopefully or sometime early next year. Now what to do with the .22lr barrel I had on this setup.............. |

made some changes. Cloud OWL was way too heavy!
First experience with the SLR rail and 14.5" Hanson barrel. The Hanson lives up to the rumor of being pretty undergassed, which is great, the Raptor SD charging handle may be helping bleed some of that off as well, IDK. Accuracy also seems to be on point but haven't wrung it out at distance yet. Me likey.

Colt SP1 carbine circa 1980’s with a GMT-Halo
I swapped the original lock washer for shims on the flash hider. The previous owner had a trigger job done and added two more positions to the stock. The mods are well done and it does make the rifle nicer to shoot but I wish that it was still original. It came from the factory with the Colt 3x scope. If memory serves it was made in 1983. |
