Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - what can you tell me about an HK USC?

saw one at a show today.  .45acp,  about $1k.
looked pretty cool though, i thought it was a sl8 at first but it didn't have that stupid looking rail over the barrel.

Check this out. Conversion to make the USC which is limited to a 10 round Single stack magazine,"no such thing as a preban hi-cap or even LE hi-caps for the USC" accept a Grease Gun magazine. Which runs about 6-10 dollars!

I got to shoot about 10 rounds out of one a few weeks ago.  I loved the sights, the grip was a little big for me (but I have small hands) and the trigger had LOTS of travel before it went bang. Most of the travel was very light, at the end of the travel you feel more resistance and just a little more pressure and then it fires.
