I'm looking to attach a Harris #5 bipod adapter onto M4 handguards. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks for any info!

Yeah, I have the same problem. I think we'll need to remove the heat shields and then re-epoxy them in. Another possible alternative is to skip the Harris and just use one of the GI "scissor" type bipods.

Mike -  I agree that's what may have to be done. Any ideas on what to use to dissolve the original epoxy? Also, what kind of adhesive will be appropriate to reinstall the shields? I'd prefer to stay with the M4's AND the harris if it can be done without ruining something.
