How Rare is this gun? & What is its Value?

I own a Communist Chinese Carbine made on machinery given to the Nationalists and abandoned by them as they fled to Taiwan.I verified this by the arsenal markings on the receiver(The marking matches those listed on Page 710 of "War Baby II" by Larry Ruth). All parts other than the barrel & receiver are standard GI Carbine parts, The date stamped on the receiver is 1949.12 (Dec.49), The serial Number is a single digit. The Machine work is very rough.The barrel & Chamber look OK, Headspace checked OK.
